Where Design Gets Real in Tokyo

Spectrum Tokyo Festival is a two-day design festival by Spectrum Tokyo, a design community broadening the perspectives in digital design.

Unlike a formal conference or a seminar, everyone is welcome to walk around the venue at one’s own pace like at a music festival, and learn and gain insights as you go. The festival will feature a variety of talks and workshops by a wide range of speakers, a wide variety of booth experiences, and delicious food and drinks, making for two days full of new encounters and dialogue.

Highlights

The DJ booth is at the center of the networking area, energizing the venue at key moments.
The bar, open throughout the day, serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
For those who want to relax in the back of the venue, there is a café serving hand-dripped coffee.
During the Mid-fest Party, we will hold a prompt battle where participants compete on the quality of their AI-generated outputs.
At the end of Day 1, a Mid-fest Party will be held right in the venue. It’s a chance to network with everyone in attendance.
As a special gift for attendees, we have prepared a variety of festival swags. Please help yourself to your favorites.

FAQ

How do I join the workshops?

You will need to sign up for workshops via a page we will provide when you purchase the tickets. We will let you know when we get closer to the event.

Will there be translations?

Some contents will be spoken in Japanese, but the talks on the Forest Stage will all be translated to English (and some English speakers will be there too). Talks on the Brick Stage will all be in Japanese but will have translated captions. Workshops will not be translated, but some will have bilingual staff to support.

Why are the session times so short, such as 20 minutes?

It’s to allow more time for dialogue with the speakers. The highlight of the event is the interaction. There will always be an AMA session after each presentation, so please make the most of it.

Will there be video recordings?

Yes, all ticket types include video recordings of the day you have purchased. You can watch them until 3 months after the event.
