In the design field, “moving quickly” is always demanded. However, prioritizing speed often leads to the accumulation of unnecessary features and complex experiences, which can ultimately slow progress.
This session explores why deliberately pausing to create space for reflection—under the perspective of “Slowing down to move faster”—leads to long-term speed and sustainable design.
Drawing on practical experience in fields like finance, we’ll share how designers make decisions and design with breathing room in constrained environments, while considering the future of design demanded by our times.
