activo connects people who want to help with nonprofits that need support. Because volunteering is driven by values rather than rewards, sincere intentions can easily turn into hesitation—creating a psychological barrier often seen as “dropout from good intentions.”
This session shares how small design interventions—clearer information, supportive hints, and simple confirmation steps—can reduce that hesitation. Based on cycles of user research and iteration, we’ll explore practical perspectives for encouraging behavioral change and supporting people as they decide to engage in nonprofit activities.
