From info sessions full of flowery clichés, to the “casual dress is fine” trap, high-pressure interviews, and sudden attitude changes after joining the company…
I wasn’t already enthusiastic about working, and these terrible experiences before and after onboarding took away what little motivation I had left. That frustration became the driving force behind my efforts to improve HR processes.
When I shared these efforts with a friend who’s a UX designer, they told me, “Your approach is basically that of a designer,” which made me more conscious of my own style.
In this talk, I’d like to share how I’ve worked to deliver the employee value of “enjoying work”—a core philosophy of our company—and how I’ve designed employee experiences from an HR perspective to bring that idea to life.
